About Us

Meet Steve and Kyle! We're a team of passionate thinkers and doers, dedicated to building with purpose and clarity. Collaboration and curiosity drive everything we do.

Meet Kyle Miller, Founder of Prodigy RC

Hi, I'm Kyle Miller. I've been obsessed with offroad vehicles my whole life—sketching on paper my ideas of what would make the ultimate chassis or suspension setup since I was 13.

During college, I worked in fab shops building custom competition rock crawlers and offroad rigs. I earned a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from LeTourneau University, and post-graduation, I've focused on product engineering and design through several of my own businesses.

What drives me most is the scientific side of rock crawling: forming a hypothesis, testing it rigorously, and uncovering the real "how" and "why" behind performance—not just theory.

In the RC world, I've been competing with RC crawlers since 2011. In 2022, I started designing and building my own RC crawler chassis as a way to validate ideas through real world testing. After great conversations with Steve and fellow enthusiasts, we decided to bring these proven designs to the everyday builder.

At Prodigy RC, we're all about real-world tested innovation you can trust. Thanks for being part of the journey—let's hit the rocks!

Steve Boelter, technical Partner

After spending the better part of four decades living in the Southwest, it’s no surprise that my passion in the world of RC revolves around rock crawlers, desert buggies, and desert trucks.  In 2022, I started Mojave Valley RC Adventures (MVRCA) to share information about rock crawlers, crawler tire reviews, and related RC projects while showcasing the stunning landscapes of the Mojave Desert as a backdrop.

Digging deep into the research and testing of both tires and trucks, I’ve spent countless hours crawling rock formations across the Southwest in efforts to fully explore and understand the technical elements of rock crawling.

My primary role here at Prodigy RC is applying this crawling experience to assist in the testing and evaluation of the product line, helping Kyle push the design limits of the Class 2 and Class 3 suite of rock crawlers.

At Prodigy RC, the design pencil never sits still for long, and it’s a great privilege to be part of this quest to develop the best handling, best performing rock crawlers on the market, and this is just the start.
